Life outside of work:

Living in such a beautiful part of the world opens up a world of opportunities for outdoor activities like the famous Wainwrights and other Lake District walks which I have found very enjoyable."

Top tips for people wanting to get into the profession:

Dr Thimmiah said: "If you are a person who loves a challenge and has a passion for being able to help people, this is the time to join General Practice with the new opportunities that Primary Care Networks create. There is no better place to work in the UK than in the Lake District, join our fantastic team in Morecambe Bay."
