Bay Health and Care Partners People Board Update
Date posted: 13th July 2022The Bay Health and Care Partners (BHCP) People Board meet every six weeks to discuss the Workforce Programme for BHCP and drive forward projects of work that benefit all our employees across the Morecambe Bay area and meet the over-arching aims of the Place-Based Partnership.
David Wilkinson, Director of People and Organisational Development at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust (UHMBT); and Workforce lead for BHCP chaired the People Board until May 2022 and we thank him for all his support during this time. Lauren Butler, Head of Training, Education and Workforce Development at Morecambe Bay Primary Care Collaborative, has been appointed to the role of Chair with Ray Olive, Assistant Director of People and Organisational Development at UHMBT in the role of Deputy Chair.
We are also pleased to announce that the People Board have successfully appointed a Programme Manager, Charlotte Moul, to join the team and lead the Workforce programme; delivering various projects across the Bay, focusing on our key workforce priorities of Recruitment (Vacancies), Colleague Health & Wellbeing, Retention and Mobility. Charlotte will outline our programme of work for the next 12 months at the People Board in July.
The new Lancashire & South Cumbria Integrated Care Board (ICB) have provided funding for a Workforce Programme Manager in each of the five current Placed-Based Partnerships. BHCP are the first to appoint a Workforce Programme Manager; leading the way in establishing a programme of work, focused on our priorities to recruit, support and retain staff across the Morecambe Bay area.
