Dr Neil Smith, Macmillan GP and CRUK Strategic GP Lead and Dr Chrissie Hunt, Macmillan GP and CRUK Strategic GP Lead, are Co-Chairs of the Lancashire & South Cumbria Primary Care Network Group.

The role of the Primary Care Network Group (PCNG) is to represent the community of GPs and Primary Care across Lancashire & South Cumbria on behalf of the Cancer Alliance to:-

  • Identify and raise awareness of population needs
  • Support service improvement to reduce variation in practice and promote consistency
  • Identify and support workforce development needs including non- clinical champions
  • Share innovation and good practice
