Florence Nightingale 2020 Virtual Conference a great success
Date posted: 18th November 2020Last month, we told you about how an abstract on ‘Embracing technology to improve patient care’, written by Anne Greenwood Primary Care Digital First and GPN Lead for Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care System, had been selected for the Nightingale 2020 Virtual Conference that was held on 27 and 28 October 2020.
The virtual Nightingale 2020 Conference was sponsored by the Burdett Trust for Nursing, and they were two very inspiring days. Nearly 500 nurses and midwives joined the conference from all across the world, with prominent nursing and midwifery leaders presenting to celebrate the role of nurses and midwives during the COVID-19 pandemic and in the year of the nurse and midwife.
Anne’s piece had been selected from 900 entrants and she showcased her presentation abstract on ‘Embracing Technology to improve patient care’ that is now available to watch on YouTube (opens in a new window).
If you’d like to watch the virtual conference, both days are available on YouTube too:
