On Thursday 2 May 2019 local elections will take place across Central Lancashire. From 18 March 2019 the pre-election period begins and this will have an impact on how the Our Health Our Care programme communicates with local residents and wider stakeholders.

The Joint Committee of Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) for the Our Health Our Care programme met in public on Wednesday 13 March 2019 to discuss a proposed model of care for central Lancashire.

Following the approval  by the OHOC Joint Committee  of the case for change, the programme team has been further developing a clinical vision and a model of care, taking into account feedback received through engagement with clinicians and members of the public.

Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust will be opening a brand new specialist inpatient unit and community outreach service for mothers with perinatal mental health problems in just under a months’ time.
