More pop-up Covid-19 vaccination clinics coming to Pennine Lancashire

Pop-up Covid-19 vaccination clinics are coming to Nelson, Colne, Blackburn, Brierfield and Burnley, bringing vaccines closer to people living in those areas.

Giving people the first dose of the Pfizer vaccines, these temporary facilities make getting a jab easier and more convenient, with clinicians on hand to answer questions and address any concerns people might have.

If you're eligible, not had your first vaccine or not got an appointment to attend for your first vaccine you can book an appointment at the following clinics through www.healthierlsc.co.uk/getmyjab, or can just attend:

  • Morrisons car park, Pendle Street, Nelson, BB9 7TX
    Friday 28 May to Friday 11 June - 8am to 8pm
  • TK Maxx, North Valley Road, Colne, BB9 9DJ
    Wednesday 2 June - 12 noon to 8pm
    Thursday 3 June to 13 June - 8am to 8pm

For the following pop-up clinics, people who are aged 18 and over, subject eligibility, can get a vaccine with no need to book:

  • Troy Street Mosque car park, Blackburn, BB1 6NY
    Wednesday 2nd June - 10am to 5:30pm
  • Brierfield Community Centre car park, Colne Road, Brierfield, BB9 5HW
    Thursday 3rd June - 10am to 5pm
  • Colne Market car park, Market Street, Colne, BB8 0HS
    Friday 4th June - 10am to 5pm
  • St Michael and St Johns Primary School, Swallow Drive, Blackburn, BB1 6LE
    Saturday 5th June - 12 noon to 7:30pm
  • Merkazie Jamia Ghosia Mosque, Abel Street, Burnley, BB10 1QB
    Sunday 6th June - 10am to 4pm

Jane Scattergood, Covid-19 Vaccination Director for Lancashire and South Cumbria, said:

"These pop-up vaccination sites mean people have more opportunities to get their vaccination at a time and place that suits them. As long as you are eligible, please come forward.
