Oximetry at Home Service and Covid Virtual Ward

The Forum welcomed Liz Crossland who provided an update regarding the Oximetry at Home Service including data around numbers of patients supported by the service and an explanation of the differences between the Oximetry at Home service and the Covid Virtual Ward. The Forum agreed the importance of maximising use of the service and was pleased to note that staff had potentially been identified to support the Covid Virtual Ward and awaited the outcome of the continuing conversations around this.

Long Covid

The Forum was pleased to receive an update from E Macphie on progress around the process being implemented to provide support for patients with Long Covid.

Advice and Guidance

Detailed discussions were held regarding the ERS and Morecambe Bay services and the various issues using them. It was agreed that the advice and guidance services were useful however, it was important to address the issues, and a meeting would be convened outside of the Forum to discuss these further.
